You sound like someone who's bitter she's not rich, and is building up some conspiracy that she and her family were underminded. When all the evidence points to the guy simply chickened out.

Fine. I am bitter about LDS taking credit for my teacher's work and letting the narrative that he's a coward propagate. Because it's wrong and it hurt my family, so yeah, I'm bitter about it.

Now let me ask you this.

I haven't seen in two years. Nobody has. Think about how hard it is for someone to go completely unseen for two years.

Does that sound like a chicken to you? Or a missing person?

I'll admit that does sound like "Missing Person".

But then the question becomes.

Is he missing because something happened to him.

Or is he missing because he took the money and proverbially ran, and wanted to start a new life.

Like, was he in any trouble with creditors or the like, leading up to his disappearance?

No. Our equipment's too crummy and secondhand to cost enough to get us in trouble with creditors.

Far as I know, everything at our school is paid off just fine. And even if he did just vanish, he'd take his family with him!

Well Japan doesn't have witness protection. So that discounts that.

And you're saying he wasn't in any sort of trouble that would of gotten him in trouble with the mob.

And you're insisting he just wouldn't run off.

Maybe he got in some sort of accident??

I dunno. I don't. I don't really like thinking about it like something bad happened to him. I just know that he never would've turned his back on his audience OR his family like that!
