Y'know, I bet if this tournament was in the Mental Sphere, then I would've got an invite! I coulda won, too!

Everybody actin' like LDS is so dang great like they invented Action Duels, like they're responsible for this, razza frazzin'....

Um. Last I checked, they DID invent Action Duels. On-the-move Dueling is essentially the breakthrough that got the company on the map and lead to its explosion in profits.

Well that and its next generation Solid Vision System.

And yet patent records say otherwise. LDS patented the Real Solid Vision System and Action Duels.

And the only references to a Sakaki Yusho is an long-term Professional Circuit Duelist from Maiami City.

Who is noted by basically every publication as having chickened out at his World Level Match against Strong Ishijima. Speculated that he realized he was out of his league against Ishijima's Beat-Down Control Strategy.

With shadier blogs thinking he moved to Thailand.

Hold up.

Are you claiming that Leo Duel School, and its parent company, Leo Corporation.

Are wasting possibly millions of dollars to bribe Dueling publications and bloggers across all axes and spectrum. To bury one man?

Can you step back and look at how tinfoil hat crazy that sounds?

[personal profile] afterdarkbeforedawn 2016-08-31 08:06 am (UTC)(link)

And what in the public record. Or in relative physical evidence.

Backs your claim.
afterdarkbeforedawn: (Fuck Off)

[personal profile] afterdarkbeforedawn 2016-08-31 08:39 am (UTC)(link)
And why should I believe your word over the word of multiple newspapers, academics and the public record?

Step back, miss. And look at it from my perspective.

I've been trying to avoid being rude but bluntly:

You sound like someone who's bitter she's not rich, and is building up some conspiracy that she and her family were underminded. When all the evidence points to the guy simply chickened out.

I'll admit that does sound like "Missing Person".

But then the question becomes.

Is he missing because something happened to him.

Or is he missing because he took the money and proverbially ran, and wanted to start a new life.

Like, was he in any trouble with creditors or the like, leading up to his disappearance?

... Are you guys really the founders of Action Duels?

Well Japan doesn't have witness protection. So that discounts that.

And you're saying he wasn't in any sort of trouble that would of gotten him in trouble with the mob.

And you're insisting he just wouldn't run off.

Maybe he got in some sort of accident??

[personal profile] afterdarkbeforedawn 2016-09-01 06:00 am (UTC)(link)

Well.

I do hope you get to find out.

But I can't help but feel you're villainizing Leo Corp with lack of anyone else to blame.

Curious: So you think LDS is wrong.

What do you plan to do about it.

Or do you just plan to belly ache?
frightfulfusion: (... Really?)

[personal profile] frightfulfusion 2016-09-01 05:43 am (UTC)(link)
... Just a little bit. Getting the belt isn't a bad idea, but.

I'd of figured you go for:

"Definitive proof they're lying".
frightfulfusion: (Grin)

[personal profile] frightfulfusion 2016-09-01 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
From what I can tell, Leo Corp's been big for a while though they only got really big within the last five years.

The question is what gave them the chance for The Big Lie.

And start digging.
frightfulfusion: (... Really?)

Well when you don't show up at your culminating match, yeah, people are going to destroy your reputation.
